About this Blog
WHAT SHALL I EAT?
One big question has been on my mind for quite some time now: How can anybody find his or her way through the jungle of apple-cider-vinegar-diets, advertisement promises, the abundance of the world-wide-web and scientific studies that are filled with plenty of gobbledygook and still get a picture of which diet is the right one for him or her? Especially where everybody has their own job to do, their own families, hobbies and pets to care for and bills to pay. In most cases there’s no time to study Ecotrophology (or a comparable subject) to discern between the controversial information! Unfortunately especially the industry takes the average consumer for a fool. How should he or she know any better?
I hope to reach those people with this blog, that want to eat healthy and sustainable, but are possibly no nerds in the nutritional field and do not find their way through all the information at hand. I will reprocess scientific findings and inform about news in the nutritional science field on this website. Sometimes I might just write about topics that are on my mind or that I’ll be covering in the course of my studies. I hope information becomes easier to understand and light bulb moments occur. That way our mindset and our actions can change for the better. At times I might just post about tasty and healthy meals we enjoy at home, for example this amazingly creamy fennel-soup that even fennel-haters enjoy.
I don’t have THE way of a healthy diet and NO universal remedy to sell, because I believe that just as we all look different on the outside although we all have a nose, two eyes and a mouth, we also look different on the inside. Therefore we all require a different diet, our individual, perfect diet. I offer basics that are plausible and easy to understand and might do everybody good. I hope to bring light into the dark jungle of nutrition and offer a hand on everybody’s way to his or her individual, authentic diet.
This is the hope that brought this blog to life. Thanks to my best friend’s inspiration and my husband’s IT-expertise it finally became a reality.
